For ladies, there is an optional Posthorax support bra. It prevents the weight of the breasts from creating a pull on the sternal wound.

The vest is ergonomically designed for men and women and worn day and night for 6-8 weeks while the sternum bone is healing. It provides constant support for the sternum bone, day and night.

When fitted properly it will feel like a gentle hug.  It is worn directly on the skin or over a shirt. 

Washing instructions: Washable at home on low settings (not suitable for hospital laundry)
